A midlands-based manufacturer of building products wanted to streamline the production operations and cut lead times by bringing the storage of raw materials in house. A new facility was being built with dedicated warehouse space and an inventory system was required to control all stock movements.

THE PROBLEM

A WMS needed to be implemented in a tight time scale. All stock was being brought across from the third-party facility in time for the opening of the new facility.

THE SOLUTION

The THINK cloud-based solution was implemented with handheld scanners to record warehouse stock movements. The THINK team managed the onboarding of master data to support the new processes and was on-site during the first week of go-live to iron out any issues and supplement the training of staff.
